We reserve the right to change services, refuse service, terminate accounts or access, or remove or edit content in our sole discretion.

Refunds Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect purchases or change of mind once fabric has been cut. Please follow the care instructions as outlined in product description as we are unable to accept claims on fabrics which have been laundered incorrectly. The color of fabrics as depicted online cannot be guaranteed by Sew Banana due to variances beyond our control such as computer monitor settings. In the unlikely event that we have sent you the wrong fabric or you find that your fabric is faulty, we will replace the fabric at no charge or if we are unable to do this due to the product being unavailable, we will refund both the fabric cost and the shipping fee (if applicable).

All claims on faulty items must be made within 14 days of purchase & proof of purchase must be provided.  To make a claim please email us at info@sewbanana.com

Sales Terms

By placing an order via this website you warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. You undertake to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the websites registration form/s.   You undertake that you are the authorised user of the PayPal account, credit or debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods you are ordering.  If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, incomplete (or becomes untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete), or if you are not the authorised user of PayPal account, the credit or debit card or we have reason to suspect such information is inaccurate or incomplete or the payment method unauthorised, we have the right to suspend or terminate your use of the website and refuse any and all current or future use of the website.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and password, and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.  You agree to notify us of any misuse or breach of security.

The colour of fabrics as depicted online cannot be guaranteed by Sew Banana due to elements beyond our control such as variances in computer monitor settings. We will do our best to accurately describe our products, however if you are unsure of the colour, weight, style, grain, function or pattern of any of our fabrics and notions we strongly recommend to write us an email at info@localhost or order the minimum amount to try out.

We will endeavour to supply all orders placed and accepted on the website, however, order placement and acceptance do not constitute an obligation on us to supply until you receive confirmation of your order from us.

We are permitting you a limited license to access and make personal use of the website. This license does not include any downloading or copying of information for yourself or a third party, caching, unauthorized hypertext links and the framing of any content available through this website.  The intellectual property rights in all software and contents made available to you or through this website remain our property (and that our of licensors).  You are not permitted to publicise, manipulate, distribute or otherwise reproduce any of the content made available to you or through this website.

General

Prices – All prices are to be paid in United Arab Emirates DHS and include any taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Any additional taxes or levies that are imposed due to your geographical location are your responsibility.

Electronic Communication – You consent to receiving communications from us electronically and we consent to receiving communications from you electronically. We will communicate with you by email or by posting notices on the website.

No Waiver – If we do not exercise or enforce any right available to us under these terms and conditions, it does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Severability – If any provision or part thereof of these terms and conditions becomes or is held to be invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, that provision or part thereof shall be severed from the remaining terms and conditions, which shall continue in full force and effect.

Cancellation by Sew Banana

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Some situations that may result in your order being cancelled include limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after you have made payment for the same, the said amount will be reversed back to the same account from which payment was made.

Cancellation by the customer

In case we receive a cancellation notice from you and the order has not been shipped by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount as a store credit or directly back to the account, in case payment has already been made. The orders that have already been shipped by us will not be covered under our standard cancellation & return policy.

Final and Binding Decision
Any decision taken by us in respect of cancellation of an order shall be final and binding on you. You hereby agree to not dispute the decision made by us and accept the decision regarding such cancellation.

Fraudulent/Declined Transactions

To provide a safe and secure shopping experience, we regularly monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. In the event of detecting any suspicious activity, We reserve the right to cancel all past, pending and future orders without any liability. If your order is being canceled and your card is charged we will reverse the charged amount to your account except processing fee of payment gateway or as per the conditions of Transaction merchant.

The customer may be considered fraudulent if any of the following scenarios are met:

   – Customer fails to produce adequate documents during the payment details verification.

   – Misuse of another customer’s phone/email

   – Customer uses invalid email and phone no.

   – Overuse of a voucher code

   – Use of a special voucher not tagged to the email ID used.

   – Customer returns the wrong product

   – Customer refuses to pay for an order to the courier person / or uses fradulent payment methods on the website.

Customers may be considered fradulent or loss to business if any of the following scenarios are met:

1.     Customers with a very high return rate

2.     Invalid/Incomplete address cases

3.     Repeated request for monetary compensation for petty issues

Account for such customers falling in fraudulent or loss to business category may be blocked.

Modification of Terms & Conditions of Service

We can at any time modify the Terms of Use without any prior notification being provided to you. You can access the latest version of the Terms of Use at any given time on the Website. You should regularly review the Terms of Use on the Website. In the event the modified Terms of Use are not acceptable to you, you can discontinue using the service. However, if you are continuing to use the service you will be deemed to have agreed to accept and abide by the modified Terms of Use of this Website.
